Training as an Assistant Legal Consultant
As an assistant legal consultant you support our lawyers in conducting legal services and also perform organisational and commercial activities. Here you carry out various tasks with great care. Your daily tasks will naturally include dealing with our clients. You will welcome them to the office and will also receive standard information from them. Clients are aware that the employees in our firm all treat their case as confidential. As an assistant legal consultant you thus not only have exceptional organising abilities, you also conduct your work with a great sense of responsibility.
The following are examples of the work involved in this field of activity:
- Overview of the most important statutory provisions
- Making appointments with customers and providing standard information
- Setting up and maintaining files, sorting mail, taking care of correspondence, filling out applications, requesting documents that have not been submitted, etc.
- Writing papers and other texts at a PC with the help of word processing programs Maintaining appointment books and making sure that appointments and deadlines with clients, courts and authorities are observed
- Calculating fees and charges and making sure that incoming and outgoing payments are made in due time.
Requirement: preferably a general certificate of secondary education
Start of vocational training: 1 October 2010
