Trainee Assistant Tax Consultant

 

As an assistant tax consultant you support tax consultants in consulting clients from industry, commerce, trade, the services sector and clients who are self-employed as well as private individuals in matters relating to taxes and business. The areas in which your clients operate are diverse, making the work you do varied and interesting.
Besides, regular amendments to tax laws and the individual circumstances of the different clients mean that you will constantly gain new experience in your profession. The following are examples of the tasks involved in this field of activity:

 

  • As an assistant tax consultant one of your tasks will involve doing the accounting for companies. You will assume responsibility for financial accounting and regular business assessments and will prepare the annual financial statements of companies.
  • You are involved in preparing tax declarations for companies or private individuals and verify the Revenue Office tax assessments sent to your clients.
  • The various tasks you perform are carried out with the help of special software programs and the latest EDP and communications technology. 
  • Internal and external training opportunities supplement the practical training you receive, to enable you to complete well-founded vocational training with the relevant personal commitment.

 

Requirement:
General certificate of secondary education or a university entrance high school diploma, ideally from a commercial high school


Start of vocational training:
1 October 2010
